Our approach requires that all projects should be fully understood and adequately specified prior to implementation. By taking these initial steps we can avoid any confusion or misunderstanding between ourselves and the client.
A part-programmed software application is far more difficult to amend than a specification prior to work starting.
A collaborative approach to building the project specification provides an environment in which alternative methods and ideas can be explored and specific issues arising from alternative user scenarios considered. Iconography's designers work alongside our clients, offering their expertise and experience where required. One of the major client benefits arising from the use of best practice is the facility to illustrate functionality in easily understood diagrammatic form. This helps ensure that all those involved can, whatever their level of IT knowledge and expertise, readily understand and appreciate even the most complex of technical solutions.
Our specification services are normally provided under "development" a stage offered separately to allow those clients wanting a more staged approach to their project to have the peace of mind this provides.
