Iconography unleashes Ivor the Engine
London, UK, 17th January 2005 -- Creative digital consultancy Iconography has launched a corporate presentation tool to enable companies with multiple communications needs to deliver highly-customised presentations in a few simple steps. Designed in consultation with clients including DfES, Jisc, Timberland and General Dynamic, IVOR is an engine unlike other presentation software packages.
Available on CD-Rom and also accessible via secure networks, IVOR enables presenters to run a pre-set sequence, such as a standard corporate presentation, or to select content from a number of additional modules and screens to create a bespoke presentation, utilising a rich resource of interactive and multimedia presentation assets.
Iconography designed and developed IVOR in-house after pitching successfully for a Government project, which required CD-Rom based resources. The IVOR concept has further evolved in accordance with Iconography's clients' requirements.
IVOR enables the customisation of a presentation to match the precise requirements of an audience, eliminating the need to download images, logos or other assets from many different sources, which often reduces the quality of a presentation and weakens a brand.
IVOR was designed specifically for companies with multiple markets, products and communications needs, explains Business Development Manager Wayne Robbins. The value of corporate identity and brand recognition is undisputed, but all too often presentations are cobbled together using old logos, poor images, and inconsistent messages. IVOR guarantees control and consistency over these elements, coupled with the flexibility to use them as you wish in terms of content and sequence - users can build and save very different presentations for different uses, all through a single easy-to-use resource.
No knowledge of other software programmes is required to create an IVOR presentation, and the system is compatible with packages such as Microsoft PowerPoint. A simple training session is all that is required to get started, and the complexity of all future presentations built from the IVOR resource can be tailored according to the user's differing presentation needs. Additional content can be added to IVOR presentations by the company itself, Iconography, or by third parties.
Iconography is aiming IVOR at businesses in several sectors with complex end-user and channel communication requirements in relation to their product and service offerings.

About IVOR
IVOR is a multimedia presentation resource contained on CD and available on a secure network.
It is easy-to-use and offers a flexible presentation system that won't compromise your company's corporate style and message through poor and widely varying production values.
An IVOR presentation consists of a series of multimedia modules created to your brief by Iconography. Trainers, salespeople, anyone, in fact can customise the presentation by including or dropping modules, changing the running order, or selecting certain modules and choosing exactly which elements of them are used in any given presentation.
In terms of subject matter and the level of detail required for a presentation, IVOR offers unparalleled flexibility and fine-tuning, coupled with the ability to pull in a PowerPoint slide for added personalisation.
Your IVOR presentation can include Interactivity, video and animation, allowing you to structure and access information on demand.
A navigation option within IVOR also enables you to seamlessly return to any part of the presentation without having to scroll through your entire presentation to get there.
IVOR presentations can be delivered in a 1-2-1 or 1-2-many situation, and new content modules can be stored and downloaded over a network if required, delivering an ongoing ROI.
