We need an Assistant Account Manager

Are you interested in online shopping?

We’re looking for an awesome person to join our team in South Somerset and work with our clients.

If you feel you have the creative edge, that you're great with people or you enjoy building and developing websites, we've got just the job for you! There's an exciting new opening for an Assistant Account Manager in our thriving studio.

Iconography is an eCommerce agency; for over 20 years, we've been building the websites you use to shop for the businesses you love. Our small, friendly team works in a barn, surrounded by countryside.

We're looking for someone who'll fit right into our brand new office (and it won't hurt if you know your way around a pool table).

You'll need to be friendly, cheerful and keen to learn new things. We might spend our days editing websites, but this is not a technical role; we've built a system that's dead easy to use!

Oh, and you'd better like doughnuts, too.

Although we normally work from the office, remote working is available during the COVID-19 pandemic.

You’ll be spending your days supporting our Account Managers, dealing with clients, designers and developers.

Iconography specialise in building successful eCommerce websites for our clients and provide excellent customer service. That means you'd be working closely with our Account Managers to support our clients and focus on providing solutions that they really need.

Day to day, you'll be assisting the Account Managers and our clients. This is a varied role that puts you at the heart of everything we do and covers everything from taking incoming calls to adding content to websites. It's really about getting websites live and assisting clients once they're up and running. You'll learn a lot about how websites are managed and built, as well as how to make them successful!

We believe in our staff and support their growth, so we view this role as a stepping stone to being a full Account Manager. In just a short time you'll have a group of clients who are yours. You'll be completely responsible for them and their websites and you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to every client you work with.

So, whether you're keeping a project to time, showing someone how to use a website, or talking about some new features, you'll find plenty to keep you busy.

“No two days are the same at Iconography. One day you could be taking exciting web briefs to pass to our designers, the next you could be assisting our clients with the day to day challenges they face with maintaining their websites and marketing their business.”
- Megan

You are exactly what we're looking for!

We could find a long list of requirements, but we only really need you to be able to answer two questions:

Can you talk to people?

You're going to spend a lot of your day speaking to people, by phone, email or carrier pigeon. You're going to need to understand queries and be able to answer them in a friendly manner.

Are you willing to learn?

If we know anything, it's that no one knows everything. Previous experience is great, but so long as you're willing and able to learn new things, we know we can teach you what you need to know.

If you want to make the most out of this fantastic opportunity, just send us your CV. If you want to send us a little note to tell us a little more about you, all the better!
