When we first met Rifleman Firearms, they were looking for an eCommerce website. During that project, we started to learn about all of the problems that they were facing instore, and after a successful web launch, we started to look at how OMNIS Retail could simplify their business.
The salespeople at Rifleman were stuck using an outdated POS originally designed for restaurants. Every day, they were forced to run time-consuming workarounds for the simplest of functions. To cash up, they had to export a text file, then convert it to a spreadsheet and manually count up the individual transactions.
It was clear that they would benefit from a proper Retail Management System, they needed full visibility of their stock and day-to-day sales; OMNIS Retail was a perfect fit.
Instore orders are now processed quickly and simply, using traditional barcode readers. Receipts are either printed or emailed to the customer.
